Leighton Williams

The Middletown Fire Department had their awards presentation tonight October 20, 2020 at the Fireman’s Statue in downtown middletown. Members of the common council along with Mayor Joe DeStefano were present. Chief Don Luis and his Board of Engineers presented Leighton Williams, Lt. With the McQuoid Engine And Ladder Company No 3 with the 2019 Firefighter of the year award. Bill Kelder, department treasurer and member of the Phoenix Engine Co no 4 was presented with the 2019 Officer of the year Award and Dustin Ryder Lt. From the Monhagen Hose Company No 1 was presented with a new award, Rookie of the year 2019. Congratulations to these members for a fine job!
