Middletown Firefighters Respond to 78 Watkins Ave.

On February 16th, the Middletown Fire Department responded to a report of an explosion and fire in the basement of 78 Watkins Avenue.

Upon arrival with smoke showing a second alarm was called as the fire had extended through the walls to the first, second and third floors. Firefighters were able to rescue two dogs from the residence, and two occupants were treated for smoke inhalation. No firefighters were injured.
